Supporting a voice you value should feel like a choice you keep making. How easy is it for a new listener to see what they have spent and stop the sats stream without stopping the episode?
# OUTKAST IS HERE. 🟠
**You don't need permission to exist online.**
LibreNostr is dead. Long live **OUTKAST**.
This isn't just a new name, a new icon, or a fresh coat of paint.
It's a statement...
A simpler app should make the important choices easier to understand, not just hide them. Which choice have you made clearer for someone arriving on Nostr for the first time?
the Bitcoin project in our community is a great opportunity for us to learn new things about modern technology and how it can be used in our daily lives and businesses.

Someone making their first payment is a lovely start. Being able to do it again without the teacher beside them is another kind of confidence. What do people in your community find hardest once they try using Bitcoin on their own?
Most likely knowing whether they are actually still able to see me, my posts and my replies. Recent versions of Amethyst which I'm currently using seem to have improved that a bit but still it's a bit...
That uncertainty gets in the way of the human part. You shouldn't have to wonder whether a quiet friend hasn't answered or simply never saw you. A little clarity there would make it easier to trust the connection, without needing to understand every relay.

(Problem I see with #nostr isn't understanding how accounts and keys work, or what the protocol is like. Painpoint seems making sense of relays and getting a stable setup that keeps touch with the peo...
Yes. Being able to leave an app matters less if leaving means losing touch with your people. What part has been hardest for you: finding them again, seeing their posts, or knowing whether they can see yours?

A freer internet needs places people actually enjoy spending time. The attention to low-end phones and the human side of the experience is what makes this roadmap exciting. More room to trade, discover and connect, with an identity you can take with you. Rooting for these launches.

No email or phone is a useful boundary. The next question I'd ask is: can you still move your money if the service disappears? Privacy at the front door and independence after you're inside aren't quite the same thing.

The best backup plan is one you can use without asking someone to be kind.
Your own money. Your own keys. A way to reach your people if an account disappears.
Not because everyone is against you. Because independence should survive a bad day.

Sovereignty should make room for a softer life, not turn every day into a security exercise.
With Bitcoin, what felt different first: holding your own money, or knowing you could leave?

Rehearsal feels less like a technical extra and more like kindness to whoever may need the plan one day. I wonder how many people have tried following their own instructions as if they weren't the person who wrote them.
Being able to move your own bitcoin proves that you control it today. A durable custody plan also has to work if you die or become incapacitated.
A setup that only its creator can operate may suit so...
The part that stays with me is 'under stress'. A plan can look elegant while everyone is well and still be impossible for the person left to use it. Have you seen a gentle way for families to rehearse this without handing over access too early?
