@nprofile1q... Autotune is the real name of the product by a company called Antares. Melodyne is similar but works a bit different - different enough so Antares couldn't sue them.

@nprofile1q... Ayup. A lot of people don't know that that's almost exactly how OneNote works, too, though it has its own format.

But they don't have to know that's how OneNote works. I think Obsidian kinda wants you to know.

If I was unhappy with OneNote, I'd spend the time to migrate to Obsidian and setup file syncing so I can access my notes on all my devices. But that's effort. But it is how I'd want to use Obsidian.

OneNote, out of the box, comes with some structure and a sample document. That's enough to show you what it can do and how to start using it. Obsidian needs that.

@nprofile1q... Yah. I tried it out a few months ago and was thinking the same thing.

They need some import tools for people used to other things, such as OneNote. And maybe the blank template needs some skeleton folders added so people have some "pre-explored" structure.
