There's this thing called molecular sieve that can be use to dehydrate azeotropic alcohol to practically 100%. For some reason I thought I'd have to do extractive or azeotropic distillation if I ever wanted to make anhydrous ethanol.

Molecular sieves can even be reused. And for what they do, I'd say they are rather cheap :thinkbird:
