From my understanding, to seek out what is like one’s self, is one of the fundamental human impulses, like the fear of being buried alive. It’s where the collective thinking we tend to define as culture is manifested.
To disagree peacefully, to put an objective grey filter on that which we are passionate about, takes a level of discernment that is often discouraged it seems. Possibly because ppl at odds tend to consume & destroy blindly.
