Autism and "giftedness" are two correlated neurotypes, but they aren't the same thing. This precision of language and strong interest in learning and teaching and yes-anding everything is I think more associated with the "giftedness". That is, non-autistic gifted people do it too.

God I wish they'd come up with a better multi-factor description of neurotypes.

Becomes extremely problematic when you gain enough expertise in methodology to realize that wide swaths of everything in science is methodologically dead on arrival.

There have been some useful articles written to highlight this, standard methodology, and clearly (intentionally) broken studies.

Sooo tired.

Plenty of stuff was bad before 9/11 but since then, its been a complete shitshow. Literally worse and worse for 25 years. we could have just not done any of that harm. no Iraq invasion, no Afghanistan invasion, no PATRIOT act, no NSA funding Google to do spying, no tea party assholes, no Obama drone strikes, no Trump 1 or Trump 2 or COVID mismanagement... no financial shenanigans, no destruction of the housing market, no opioid crisis

these were all choices by politicians
