People often think of us devs as robots 🤖, weirdos who sit literally all day in front of a screen and only play videogames in their free time.

Although we do spend lots o hours in front of a screen, we are more “normal” than people think. Some devs do sports, enjoy being outside, make crafts and can have lots hobbies that don’t match the nerdy stereotype. And of course, many devs play videogames too.

Creativity is an essential part of programming. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that a dev can also draw, knit, do pottery, cook or write poems. It’s the same creativity, just applied in a different area.

Yes, we are nerds. But we are humans, not agents.
