Irony: Emperor didn't need guns when he can force choke and lightning zap people.

Pi's themselves are random in quality. Some are very reliable. Others less so. That's what you get when you buy toy quality hardware.

We recommend used ThinkPads because they were originally $1,500 enterprise quality machines but they sell for less than $200 when entire fleets are sold off lease. I particularly recommend the 2019 E series because it has upgradable RAM to 32GB and two internal SSDs. You can't get that level of reliability and performance with Pi.

I'm considering keeping it as a spare for visiting family. On the other hand it will definitely sit unused for months from December so that's a good time to sell it. Might consider selling sooner if someone really needs it.

* I just bought a new car so I'm not really using this car anymore.
* Service history: Judging by the low miles you can see I did very little driving. Changed oil with synthetic every year despite not reaching 5k miles. Just completed multi-point inspection and $3k of maintenance at the local Toyota dealer. Only problem was a leaking water pump (replaced). New coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid. Brakes and tires are in good condition.

I bought a retail SIM card only to learn online activation requires the SV national ID number. Wasted $3.

Instead a kiosk in a supermarket had a guy selling phone plans. I asked for an activated SIM card. He asked for ID. "Oops I forgot it at the hotel." He just went ahead and activated it in his own phone before handing it over. YMMV.

Ugh the Chivo ATM's are still onchain only? Inexcusable.

I only have the energy to point at hardware that would be reliable. If you don't know how to use Linux then demand help from the appliance OS brands. They should be focusing on PC hardware instead of RPi.
