anyone own a whole home kohler standby generator? happy with it? is the extended warranty worth buying?

Strongly recommend Kohler. I’ve had a 14kW generator that runs on natural gas for10 years. It has carried us thru two tornado related outages, multiple thunderstorms and the latest ice storm.

Currently has 400+ hours of outage support. Do the Spring & Fall preventative maintenance and it will be rock solid. Will never own another house without a natural gas generator.

My Bitaxe 601 bricked (black screen & no hash rate) running Firmware v2.10. Sat on my desk unplugged for couple months. Just tried update for v2.12.2 and back online. Worth a try!
