@nprofile1q... gives a whole different meaning to the term "sunken". 😂

Interesting how thin the topsoil layer is!

@nprofile1q... yikes! Good luck! 🤞

@nprofile1q... yeah, three times. You'll meet new people in time. But you'll leave everything behind. If there's much you value more than the weather, it's probably better not to move.

@nprofile1q... which currently available or upcoming Motorola devices do you support? I checked your web page which only lists Pixels. Thanks!

@nprofile1q... way more than what we paid in monthly installments for the house. Ok, that was 20 years ago but still.

@nprofile1q... oof.

@nprofile1q... 1.6ha sounds good. How much is the rent?

@nprofile1q... wait, what? Now we've finally broken down and created the fscking tropics here just for you and now you're moving away?!?

Seriously, congrats and best of luck in your new adventure! 👍🎉

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... this is why I'm self-hosting my weather station.

@nprofile1q... not to be confused with the kak^[1]^ Internet theory: everything that can turn to shit, will.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... the lack of zfs on macos isn't great.

I hate SMB with a passion.

For backups I think I'd prefer Borg, especially when backing up to a remote target that may not be entirely under my control. I used to do rsync with hard links for a long while but switched to all-Borg a couple of years ago.

There are also nice graphical frontends which are great when cherry-licking few from backup sets. Like Pika for Gnome for example.
