Part of the inherent functionality of any social media platform is to influence others, isn't it?

So why don't we "free-thinking, open-minded, caring, fundamentally sociable and tolerant human beings" use this platform to influence those that are capable of listening?

Sure, there are a lot of dead-heads who simply cannot move beyond their indoctrination out there. But does that mean we should give way to them?

I am curious... why is it we are not allowed to be content with who we are?

I wasn't for a long time, not that I consider myself to be on any particular scale, but now I simply see that (in Popeye's terminology) I am what I am, who I am, where I am, and when I am.

I have one simple rule - "Be a peep to me, and I'll be a peep to thee!"

Anything is else is irrelevant as regards whether I like someone or not! They can be who, what, when and where they want!
