I agree wrt Windows. For me, no Windows, ever. But, I think there is a general false sense of security everywhere else too. Very, very little development is designed from security up. We are now reach...
I agree. Security is never the focus when you have a grand new app idea. But, like Windows, it'll get patched. Nothing is ever hack-proof on day zero. It requires battle testing, sometimes intrusions, and hardening. But, it'll get there.
Maybe we need to train an open weight model just for security analysis? Run it on open claw and lettr-rip on our apps before making it public.

The real enemy is the fiat system. I don't know why it has to go down like this.

The ONLY way out is to start using BTC/Lightning. Use it as currency whenever possible. Encourage it in your town. Start a business to help get companies set up to accept it. When the money changers loose their power, we will see a era of real peace and prosperity.

I mean, Linux servers are kind of the backbone of the internet. If any OS has been hardened through battle testing, it's Linux. Pretty much trusted as the industry standard. No?

open source is getting stronger bc of AI

I suspect Linux will overtake Windows and OSX as more devs EASILY improve opensource projects. I pray we see a landslide of cutting edge projects pop up in robotics, business automation, even public works. A world that exchanges value in crypto and works to improve the state for all contributors. We don't need institutions, we need each other.
