Sounds more like the goal is to shift responsibility to the customer. "You bypassed the install blocker. That makes it your fault not ours for writing bad software."

I prefer understanding the facts rather than believing people who have proven they choose to lie, repeatedly, sometimes as part of their religion.

That may be accurate, but no one holds a belief unless they also believe it is fact.

You believe it to be fact that their beliefs are not facts. Your belief doesn't make that true, but you believe it to be true, otherwise you wouldn't hold that belief.

Facts stand regardless of one's belief, but there are limits to verification that can be obtained, and those limits are subjective to the abilities of the believer.

My point: Be patient with those who haven't figured it out.
