The Global Digital Collaboration Conference 2026 in Geneva is on! (1โ€“3 September)

On Day 2 (2 September), join our colleagues @Puria , Andrea D'Intino and @Jaromil as they dive into the future of privacy-preserving digital identity.

๐Ÿ”— https://globaldigitalcollaboration.org/gdc26?day=sept-2

Dyne.org and Forkbomb.solutions are proud to release two key software pieces aligning with this mission:

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ European Sovereign Longfellow-ZK: A community-maintained C++ ZK system, forked from Google's implementation. It's portable across native, mobile, and WebAssembly, removing dependency on the Google Play API to ensure privacy and freedom of choice for European wallets. https://dyne.org/longfellow-zk/

๐Ÿ” SD-JWT ZK: A privacy-preserving cryptographic component enabling selective disclosure with re-randomized, unlinkable proofs hiding witness data while maintaining policy compliance. https://forkbombeu.github.io/sd-jwt-zk/

If in Geneva come say hi!

๐Ÿ“ข Open call: Open Technology Research is a global, multidisciplinary research symposium bringing academics and practitioners together to advance understanding of the role of open technologies in the modern world and produces policy-relevant research that helps decision-makers drive impact.

This year's Open Technology Research (OTR) Symposium, themed โ€œShaping the Open Transitionโ€, moves from diagnosis to action: from mapping the landscape to charting the path forward. With keynotes anchored in what is already working, and sessions designed to translate research directly into policy recommendations and practice, the event is both a stocktaking exercise and a forward-looking call to build a more united, evidence-based global research agenda ON โ€“ one that strengthens open technology's role as a shared foundation for resilience and sovereignty, reinforces public interest governance, and mobilizes research and evidence to drive collective action.

๐Ÿ“š๏ธ๏ธ Read this peer-reviewed article on municipal tokens as urban policy tools, using #LVGA & the #MyLugano app as a concrete case study.

@Jaromil contributed the final chapter, where he set out privacy-by-design principles for municipal digital identity.

Municipal digital infrastructure can become a tool for autonomy, coordination, business & public value. Or it can become another surveillance layer.
๐Ÿ‘†The difference is in the privacy design choices we make early.

Everything that once felt connected suddenly is. Interfaced by brittle constructions of channeled electricity, we project ourselves into the ether. And there, in the ocean of data, our identities blend. Locality becomes osmosis. And realms flow into each other through their veil.

Welcome home, fellow dyne.
