Here's something every American SHOULD watch. The vidya linked at the bottom addresses the challenges off-shoring have introduced and it's from one of my favorite YouTube channel 'Getting Smarter Everyday'

Genuine American manufacturing is perfectly possible, if you want to make a FAIR profit, the keeps the business going, employees paid and happy, and customers getting a product that should last a lifetime.

Remove the 'min-max' parasites from capitalism who always offshore in the end to reach their 'min-max' goals... and bring back the FAIR profit margins. You can have apprenticeships again, because the men with the skills will still be around purely because there's going to be a job there at home for them to work at, make a living off, and train young people at to pass their skills onto the next generation.

If you want to 'de-couple' from China, and undo the generations of American businessmen selling US born companies to the Chinese, then you have to quickly re-tool and set in-place all the right plants and get the men and boys back into the workshops... then you can THINK about de-coupling from China.

We're not talking about an easy thing here, because as i stated above, this is a generational thing. It wasn't just the businesses that were sold overseas, you also lost the skilled men who could teach younger people to pass their skills on. You can easily get this back, but you need it ALL back at the same time. Plenty of well educated, highly skilled and determined White men all across America right now, who can get things moving again for the people.

This time, it should be set in stone, that companies cannot be sold/traded/moved/whatever to overseas. It must be kept in America and run and staffed by Americans. I don't know how you do that, but it needs to be set in stone.
