@nprofile1q... I think you'll have a great time! If you're going to play it with someone else, I recommend you skip or turn off the hinting dialogue right when you start playing, as it emulates the "think out loud" interaction that you would have with another person with the game's NPCs, and sometimes the hints are a little too on the nose
If you read this, there's a chance you're a nerd, like me. Thus, there's also a high chance that you will enjoy playing "The Message From Deep Space", just like me as well.
It is a pretty good puzzle / deduction game.
It is also hands down the best and most realistic first contact portrayal across all media today.

Usually that mechanic is there to nudge you towards trying out new weapon types (because the previous one broke), which is something that is a little unfun in the short term (taking sth away from the player) but may improve overall fun because of variety in the whole playtime?
