A couple of years ago I started a project to 3D print famous statues that I will never see personally. I started off with Michelangelo's David. And I continue with a bunch of others. It really is special to be able to hold something like that with all that beauty in one's hand and examine it.

Which led me to start reading a biography of Michelangelo. It's a fascinating look into a world that I guess I really know nothing about. Life is fun sometimes.

I decided to reread Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. So I started last night with The Color of Magic. And within two paragraphs I was chuckling out loud and feeling totally delighted. What a wonderful sense of humor he had and what wonderful writing he did.

Now I am looking forward to reading the rest of them.
