Take a look at Xubuntu, stable GUI for 6-8 years now. I've noticed only 3 changes over the years, and that was just config changes, not fundamentals. Probably should stick with 24.04 LTS, anything past that is troon rust infected.

Is that your first looneex? Probably should go with some Ubuntu flavor, print system is somewhat integrated and other user friendly utilities too. Don't know Mint, but such basic issues don't exist in buntu.
