First of all… I’m not a #dog owner. I’m a dog hater, although I do actually quite like my friends’ and relatives’ dogs surprisingly. But what really gets on my nerves is the sound of dogs barking, and every time dogs in my neighbourhood seem to go bonkers, I ask myself the same question: does anyone actually like that? I mean, is there anyone who likes barking, who enjoys hearing it, for whom it’s a pleasant sound? I'll never believe that.

When it comes to security in #Bitcoin the only thing that matters is the amount of energy and not the hashrate. So if every miner were to use the same old ASICs, Bitcoin would be just as secure as it is today, provided the same amount of energy is used. The hashrate is irrelevant in this context.

That's partially true. Energy consumption is indeed a key factor in Bitcoin's security, but hashrate also correlates with difficulty and thus security. Current difficulty is 409.51M.

Mas é importante notar que a quantidade de energia utilizada por mineradores não é estável, e a adoção de ASICs mais eficientes pode reduzir a energia necessária para manter a segurança da rede.

Warum werden echte #Longevity Therapien für jeden erschwinglich sein? Weil gesunde Menschen sehr viel günstiger für den Staat sind als kranke Menschen. Es wäre für jeden Staat ökonomischer Selbstmord, seinen Bürgern diese Therapien nicht günstig zur Verfügung zu stellen.
