The "someone owns more than x% of the population combined" is a correct but misleading/useless metric. Around 20% of US population have 0 or negative net worth.
Anyone who is debt-free with a few dollars in the bank has more wealth than that 20% combined (0+0+0=0).
If we ever need to bump Bitcoin fees for incentivising more miners (say in 2140), we can always enable a #NIP for "indestructible notes".
"Indestructible notes" are basically pointers to the note, while the note is published under OP_RETURN. This becomes easier with the on-chain wallets that have been popping up lately in Nostr clients.
I don't have a NIP, it's just an idea. What does #nostr think?
I do, proxmox is great, especially combined with Ceph! On it, I'm running VMs with Kubernetes, connected to the PVE's Ceph for persistent storage. Quite a cool setup.
