That said maybe the courts are stopping them, but again, it’s ICE doing things inside the country they shouldn’t be doing unless one believes in the central state authority.

The principle argument you are missing is the federal government is operating military forces (ICE) well inside the United States, not just around the borders. It should be the state and local officials doing this work, not the feds.
