The US Air Force is looking at possibly nine companies to provide new drones

This means there will probably be nine new unmanned drones entering service at the same time. The USAF is moving to a future where the only pilots will be over the horizon from the action, killing people without even being there (moresoe than the Predators and Global Hawks). I can't help but to be worried that the increase in remote weapons and AI decision-making is leading us to a very near future where there won't be a warfighter in the loop who can decide not to commit war crimes against Americans, much less foreigners.

These kinds of sleep patterns are never good long-term. They don't work out like they should and they become more and more difficult to keep as you go on. Anyone who claims to have been on one of these schedules for more than six months is lying
