@Phantasm that's because:

> You know the "secure browser" is bullshit

These merely register as irrelevant geekspeak to normies so they ignore it

They have been sufficiently brainwashed to now think the only way they can be secure is if they have the latest [PROPER BRAND] thing with [SECURITY LABEL] on it because otherwise they think Hoo Lee Fok the chinese chink hacker is gonna magically steal all the bank notes and personal data right the moment the computer gets turned on (he is gonna do just that, not because the computer is on, but because most people have the computerliteracy of a koala eating its own shit and will click on every shiny button and every shiny .exe file because "omg that's totally not a virus")

people need to be made much more computer-literate if this world wants to shove computers, smartphones and the whole of the internet down people's throats.

@GNU/翠星石 @nprofile1q... tbh linus always freely admitted that he just liked the core part of the gplv2, that is, share your code and get something back for it. But beyond that he never in particular cared for open source software development. He uses it where it's helpful, where it's practical. He doesn't use it out of an ideological point of view.

And that's fair, but I think people should be made more aware of the fact that linus was never the face of the gpl, open source development or any particularly linked idea or view. He is simply the kernel guy.
