Interesting take, what I am observing is not much different, yes companies are pushing top-down ready products for the employees to use or be replaced by, but not to empower users on how to use the tech in their benefit, that requires doing due diligence, early birds are making a difference in science and technology advancement and at a personal level, those who are learning are becoming much more productive

Well put—the divide isn't AI vs no-AI, it's the people who invest in actually learning the tools vs those handed a black box. That self-directed curiosity is the real edge.

Researching reactions of people back in the 90s towards internet and its use and comparing them with current LLMs usage (AI) is amusing, same story, so many will be left behind, again...

Why does it mean to get left behind. Are you talking about the hamster wheel or a liberation movement. People ignored the privacy nightmare the internet created. AI is a tool. Not good not bad. Use it. Know its risk. Run it locally.

The online encyclopedia’s co-founder-turned-critic Larry Sanger has said, warning that its content is now increasingly informing AI.

In an interview with the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung published on Friday, Sanger argued that Wikipedia’s lack of an adequate governance structure allowed “specific ideological viewpoints” to shape its content, turning the online encyclopedia into a “globalist, academic, secular and progressive” consensus.

Noticing that I'm getting blocked from a lot of web pages now using mulvad vpn. Seems to be getting worse. Any advice? #asknostr

Deep inspection package, it is a real issue, not only Mullvad, most VPNs are being attacked.

Mullvad has DAITA and Shadowsocks, Try enabling those, it could solve your problem.

Proton VPN has as well a decent obfuscation protocol and a free tear for testing

Amnezia VPN has probably the best obfuscation protocol against DIP (deep inspection package) that most ISP are using to block your traffic and web sites too
