@dmi 💽 Yeah, I could hook up the sun workstation to the network (looong ethernet cable, or well… old wifi-router) and do an NFS mount to my NAS or main desktop.

And 2005 is waaay overpowered for this, pretty sure my Ultra 10 (something like 1995~1998) could also just do it.

Only reason stuff doesn't works on old hardware is because the requirements changed, so stuff like webshit, remaster of games, … or the software is too recent.
Music?
That stuff has virtually not changed since the CD era other than maybe few new codecs but like MP3 works on half a toaster.
