Stablecoins have decent use cases and have100s of billions locked in them. Right now Tether is mostly reliant on Ethereum, which makes it fairly risky. I'd prefer to keep Bitcoin pure, but Tether could help spread Lightning use drastically. Tether used to be on Bitcoin L1 before and moved away from that - perhaps Lightning is a better home for it. I'd trust it more, too.

For more than a hundred years, you have stolen from us.
Men like me, who have worked hard our entire lives to gain capital, only for it to be stolen by you for 'equality'.
Smug, coercive narcissists who have never created anything. You use the violent apparatus of the state to steal our life energy on a daily basis.
You tax us when we earn, when we spend, when we save, when we drive, when we eat, when we drink, when we travel, even when we die.
We are sick of it. You do not deserve our help any longer.
We have created an alternative technological system, outside of yours, where we can build things without you interfering.
We will build Technologies. Products. Families. Communities. A Future.
Good luck with your pronouns, your masks, your 'climate emergency' and your DEI quotas.
You will be living in the ruins of the society we built for you, raping and murdering each other for scraps of bread.
We will be on Mars.

"I'm very excited to announce, a great day for America. American Hodl, some people call him Hodl, do you know this guy? Great guy, good friend of mine, maybe the best guy. We're naming him our Chief of Big Shouty Crypto Memes. He's going to be in the White House, making tremendous memes, great videos, helping us Make American Great Again. I hear he has a dick 20 inches long, can you believe this? Big ENERGY!"

With the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, perhaps the reason the 'Digital Stockpile' exists is simply to allow for more Bitcoin accumulation via shitcoining in the long term.
Trump will have recognised that shitcoins will always exist, so might as well drain them into a USA Bitcoin reserve rather than let them be pumped and dumped by rival nation states, who will ultimately end up with the Bitcoin proceeds from the pump.
The last thing he wants is to go Bitcoin-only, see China accumulate tons for Bitcoin via shitcoin pumps, then China end up with more Bitcoin than the US, and subsequently use that Bitcoin to invade.
Setting the precedent for the 'Digital Asset Stockpile' helps with this.
I say this as someone who hates shitcoins, I'm just hypothesising about what his strategy might be.

Same for me. It may be due to fiat culture dissolving any ambition the average man might have had. "Why work hard, learn skills and build things? Good women are rare, houses are expensive, and the state will steal all my income if I get rich anyway. Better to just exist and distract myself with video games, porn and drugs".
Bitcoin incentivizes (or even forces!) ambition again. "I'd better get as much Bitcoin as I can before the next halving! What skills does the market value currently?"

Separating the *creation* of money from state is the key here, very good point. The beauty of bitcoin is that it puts the nation state on the same level as the individual!
At some point, the state will *have* to start accepting Bitcoin as legal tender, otherwise they will miss out on a lot of tax money. Then people will truly discard fiat, the authority of the state will shrink drastically, and liberty will come back. We have an exciting future, and there's nothing statists can do about it.

On the Bitcoin SBR: A smart next step could be to do digital proof-of-funds signing, demonstrating the USA has the BTC they say they do (Which they can't do with gold).
This could inspire developing countries to store their own BTC SBRs with USA, (or with USA as a co-signer on a multisig transaction), improving diplomatic ties. Multisig sets up lots of interesting global political ties, and could bond countries together + increase trust.

AGI will still not have happened. The AI bubble currently gives the impression that Artificial General Intelligence is just round the corner, but there is still a massive hurdle between smoke-and-mirrors LLM projects vs actual sentience, reason, creativity, and critical thinking.
However, Robots will be relatively commonplace, doing super basic tasks, flipping burgers, construction, cleaning etc, with limited/remote supervision.
Bitcoin will have enabled much more of the 'Sovereign Individual' thesis to come true. Wealth inequality will increase but overally productivity and general freedom will be at much higher levels. The welfare state will have shrunk massively, and the world will be much better.

Brits should start strategising how to emigrate. Keir Starmer could plausibly conscript UK men into the 'EU Army' to go and die in Ukraine. Remember: anything that's in a UK bank, they can take. Instead, keep your savings in an asset that can't be confiscated, and can be silently taken across borders:
Bitcoin.
