Personally I like oil painting better, and I actually find it way more manageable than acrylic 😅

You are right, is not about time, in this case it was all about trying new stuff out... I go to this workshop to push myself, to get out of my comfort zone and experiment. Is not that my goal is to paint fast, it is to never stop trying out new ways of creating.

So many 😅 I start by mixing colors on my palette with the spatula... but I usually never use them as such, I then mix them with the brush to create more colors before I actually paint the canvas.

For this exercise I was trying to do everything as fast as possible, with a big bristle brush. I was hoping to get it done in 1 session... but I'll need at least a second!

Thank you! It's been years since I've worked from a real object and not a photo... so it's intimidating but fun at the same time 😁

I get back to the workshop with a new challenge, life painting. It's been ages since I've done an exercise like this. I was hoping to get it done on one session, soon enough I realized it was going to take me ,at least, more than 1 😁
