Soon the question won't be a model's cost or "accuracy", it'll be who made it. The lab behind a model shapes how it nudges and persuades. We already see that people have "a high tendency to follow the potentially harmful medical advice" from model output (1) - imagine the power these providers can have, not just in intelligence but in persuasion.

yes lol actively using at least three app just for events! which app is in the screenshot? how does it show only event dms? or have I misunderstood?

The app is actually just the Nearhood website I saved to my iOS Home Screen 😄 notifications there are (unfortunately) not pure nostr nips or DMs as I wanted them to be locally requested and not encrypted (the DMs on nearhood are encrypted and gift wrapped).

You’d get notifications for events you have bookmarked, messages people send you (those are encrypted) and events you RSVP to, but it’s using a layer on top of nostr to handle those notifications

Me too - I really love how nostr gives you all these tools and if you use them the system is interoperable! I use NIP-52 for RSVPs, but I don’t think DMs are that clunky? Useful for sharing location details etc?
