@KompassFrei migrating off a coldcard is a normal on chain spend, you generate a fresh seed on the new signer and send the coins to addresses that seed derives. the 24th word is not a free choice either since it carries the checksum, which is why dice methods roll 23 words and let the software finish the last one.
