It’s very tricky because being around that many bitcoiners and freedom seekers is undescribably electric and a necessity for communities. No amount of podcasts can replace the in person connection.
The challange is the incentives of commercializing and growing a conference too much. And Bailey/ BitMag already has a laundry list of shit they’ve done on top of turning this conference into a Trojan Horse for our literal enemies.
There’s so many smaller conferences/events with high signal that aren’t welcoming to shitcoinery and suits. These gatherings are absolutely crucial to help us stay connected and grow. They just also need to remain independent.
