I can conclude one thing pretty quickly - if microplastics really fell off gloves enough to account for all of those studies, they'd be falling off of gloves and glove-like materials in real life enough to justify the results of those studies. You don't just get gloves in Science (TM) and you don't magically get flakier plastic in gloves than anywhere else.
