Luke is wrong about CTV. He was also partially wrong about SegWit and Taproot too. But at that time nobody saw the problems with these two upgrades. The biggest advocates for CTV were the twitter sand...

Curious to see where Jeremy spoke of an emergency level do or die upgrade. Because it'd be entirely wrong. When it gets hard to get enough blockspace to open or close Lightning Channels we may get to something approaching emergency levels.

As for the consortium, nice to see devs getting paid.

They can code all they want, just like anyone else -- it's an open GitHub.

Quantum is a silly concern but we do need to plan around the breaking of secp256k1 and if quantum is what motivates people that works.

No amountof paying devs makes a protocol change though.

I was getting suspicious you’re retarded, now I’m sure. Enjoy mutelandia.

I wouldn't be so quick to jump to the conclusion that it's good that devs are getting paid. If they are getting paid in fiat by fiat minds, then they are most likely being paid to subvert humanity's hope at survival

“They can code all they want, just like anyone else -- it's an open GitHub.” Sure - but it won’t get merged or shipped as part of the popular Core implementation. Just look at Luke’s contributions to mitigate ordinals.
