I stopped buying whole roast chooks when they switched to the plastic bags, it ruins the texture of the meat because they can't breathe, you get a bunch of liquid in the bottom of the bag that's mostly water from the steam condensing as soon as you take it out of the hot box.
I just don't enjoy them anymore.
