πŸ’ͺ πŸ’― spot on. this is how I also operate. I also noticed some people are getting subtle at crossing boundaries. it starts with little "joke only". Then it becomes a pattern β€” making a joke at your expense. if you are not attentive to it, it can be a sign of passive aggressive. regardless, it is better to catch them in the act and ask them of their behaviour if they intend to do x or y. This put the court back at them. I am with you when giving people the chance after you communicated your boundary. πŸ«‚
But sometimes, if they always drain you, good riddance is your best shot. It's better to spend your energy to those who deserve your company β€” the one that uplifts you and keep you growing. ☺️

Thanks for the positive vibes. This world is still stuck in cynicism, passive aggression, etc. Reminding about the significance of social skills is never too much yet.
