i'm proud to say that my oma was half swiss, half northeast irian jaya. my father looked distinctly aboriginal (oma was a mix) and i'm more proud of my indonesian heritage than any other part of my genetics.
and i was born, in the first place, because of those muslims kicking out he dutch in the early 50s, and i have dutch citizenship because my father never naturalized, so i got patrial citizenship. gonna be renewing that passport this week, hopefully they aren't gonna fuck around and try and make me once again get my birth certificate while i have a perfectly valid, but expired netherlands passport.
