There are tons of podcasts out there and growing. Many people who publish on YouTube also publish stuff in RSS form (I don't know how many, but it's more than 5 people). Sometimes the videos are also published in others places too rather than YouTube.
Also if the YouTube people you follow are not gigantically famous they might be susceptible to a campaign of sad viewers emailing them claiming to not have access to their content anymore and asking them to publish it elsewhere.
