To make sure, that you have the correct seed as well as the correct passphrase. If both is ok you should see the amount of the test send you did before in your wallet.

I still do not comprehend--and this is most likely due to not having practiced any of this. So does wiping it or resetting it not mean you have to create a new seed and passphrase or does it mean something else. I mean, if it is only a test, why go through setting up a new seed and passphrase again.

Thank you very much for your patience, especially if this seems troublesome. Given the recent crap with Coldcard, i want to learn a bunch more and be redundant--ideally anti-fragile--before starting.

By wiping (or resetting) your device, you delete everything on it. Afterwards you can create a new seed with a new passphrase, or you can import an existing seed and passphrase.
