@nprofile1q... yeah I tried varifocals before I got reading glasses and I hated the restricted field of view. Luckily they had a return policy and I got reading glasses instead. My eyesight is “ok” for both reading and monitor short term, but not great because 1 eye is doing all the work- my left eye for reading, my right eye for monitors. They’re both rubbish at distance though which is why I’ve had distance glasses for years
