In most industrialized nations, driving has always been a State-privileged activity.

The only ways to actually travel anonymously are walking, biking, and even most forms of public transportation. Ironically these are rejected by most bitcoiners, as they are rarely practical outside of dense urban areas, which this cohort tends to reject for other political reasons.

But I strongly believe this is a situation where "exit" is the only viable option. Consider how you can make choices to reduce your dependence on driving. I get it, for many Americans this is tough because most people plan their lives around car dependence.... But it's possible. There are places where one can live car-free in America.

Giving up the food sovereignty I've built up on my property and uprooting my entire life to move from a place with a few plate cameras to a place with facial recognition cameras on every corner is a dumb trade.
