It's why i consume zero news. I don't even want to know what the fuck is happening on the other side of the world. I am of the opinion that my mind was not made to be constantly emotionally triggered and stressed without being able to do something with that information. 99% is useless information and if there's 1% that i must know i am certain someone is going to tell me anyway.

Even without seeking it out myself i still think i get exposed to more than i would want. People are just so eager to tell you what it was they read and provoked some kind of emotion.
