@OpenSecret with a fedimint may be the answer I have been looking for. I have been trying to find an efficient/easy way to give kids allowance in sats without panicking about high fee environments or channel management.

I had them do @BTC Sessions tutorial this morning for a bonus 10000 sats. I think if you incorporate Fedimints, there is a balance between trust, easy usability, and fee efficiency. Will try it for 2 months (short term spending and short term savings) and see how it goes.

Deep pull! Halt and Catch Fire fucking rocked.

I've been doing something similar and the kid likes it. We've used Zeus/Alby, Coinos, and eNuts. So far Mutiny is the only one with a path forward from ecash/custodian to some kind of real self-custody.

Mutiny is what I’ve been using for my children too. They’re a bit young so we watched the Bitcoin cartoon YouTube episode on Tuttle twins and I opened them up an aqua wallet / Zeus combo and a Nunchuk also.

Mutiny Wallet & Aqua Wallet are leading the way, imho 👍

Completely agree. I only just realized you could use more than one fedimint at a time.
