Sometimes news feels like propaganda

50 percent of the students in Canada have no internal dialogue. Even as I write this I can hear it in my head. Do people have any capacity to govern themselves?

I only care about things that affect me personally (my stock portfolio). If my portfolio is printing $$$ I don’t care. If money goes down, I need to find out who to be mad at.

I only really check the local online newspaper these days, even then mostly so I can troll the comments section. Its a simple life.

It's why i consume zero news. I don't even want to know what the fuck is happening on the other side of the world. My model is more complicated. But with 45 minutes per day or so, i think i can get what i need to know. Avoiding news in general is one of the worst choices also
