True that the documentation gap is not a Bitcoin problem. With a broker account the heir at least has an institution to write to, and the depot contract settles it.
With self-custody there is nobody to write to, which is why the manual has to exist before it is needed. I'd be careful with flow numbers as evidence though. Fund flows
move on price, fees and rates, and no provider tracks them by how readable the paperwork is.
