18/0 is solid and no I don't mind the chromium. The human body can take advantage of more chromium daily than you would get from 18/0 letting.
I'm attracted to titanium and just exploring what's out there.
18/0 is very corrosive; rust loves it. Nickel prevents that, but it's insanely toxic.
Titanium, Molybdenum, Vanadium steel alloy is an interesting approach.
Pure titanium won't work well for many heavy duty applications like knives and pots and pans.
