BRICS, as a power projecting entity is dead. Nobody's gonna invest in their currency which has no supporting infrastructure. At this point it basically IS a Kumbaya effort, because it's neutralized from being anything else.

I don't think there's going to be another global empire. The US is the last one. When the USD is over, that's it. From there on, it's gonna be a bunch of regional powers all trading and competing - as it should be.
