If any influencer justifies stablecoins by saying they are useful for certain people, run and don't look back.
I have said this. I can't pretend the desire to use a proxy for the USD isn't preferable to worse fiat for the global south. And telling them they have to jump straight to Bitcoin and just deal with the volatility is distasteful.
