Don't do it. Stay on 22.04 Gnome if you're using Pop OS. Cosmic is pretty, but unusable for any kind of remotely serious work. There are settings that don't exist in the GUI anymore, interactions with browsers that make them suck, battery settings on desktop, SSH can't display the passphrase pop-up, so it just maxes out your processor and crashes your machine, fuck you if you have two network adapters, and on and on and on. It is absolute and total amateur hour bullshit, and I seriously question the competency and leadership at System76 now after the awful experience. What's worse is they don't give you any other option anymore. Non-Cosmic 22.04 isn't even available on their site. It's Cosmic 24.04 or GTFO. It's the Windows ME of Linux. Thank fuck I had an old 22.04 image around.
