That may be far too generous, because if *I* didn't want to fulfill the warranties on products I sold (or do anything at all for customers), I would certainly choose to outsource to AI.

I'm not going to give Nothing the "benefit of the doubt" here because AI customer service is not what you would do if you cared for your customers.

Still, I do wonder how many companies don't know that their customer base is being decimated by AI "customer service".

Do companies who employ AI for "customer service" do any kind of quality control or do they just trust in the machine? If they attempt quality control of customer service interactions, do they do this by having a human review them, or do they just ask the AI to summarize how good of a job it's doin...
