My impression is that Nostr use is increasing, not declining, but less of the interaction is aimed at the people with big npubs posting kind 1 and more at people like me, or people in the smaller acco...
I'm chatting with more and more people, even have inside jokes with some. When I see things IRL, I often think of specific users to tag. Like @Avis would love this story about crows a guy fed, and the murder then protected his chickens from a hawk. Or @Dawn would love this rock. Or I can't wait to tell @Yarnlady 🧶 my layers are gone. I do this for my IRL friends, too. But that's my point, it's on that level of importance to me.
So maybe if people say that Nostr is dying, then they aren't doing it right? Lol
