@KompassFrei tails disables the tty on purpose, so there is no shell to fall back to when the gui will not start and runlevel 3 dead ends by design. the fork is the kernel version, so boot a current debian live image on that same laptop first. if debian brings the display up, a newer tails release carrying that kernel will too, and if debian also fails then the gpu has no driver yet and an older machine with intel graphics is the fastest way to a working amnesic session.

Debían worked. Got the correct seedphrase. Entering the perfect 24-word phrase should now unlock the script's final payload instead of throwing a checksum suggestion. If that is not the case, what do I need to do in order to cross-check Root key and Fingerprint?
