Amid the devastating fallout of the earthquake in Venezuela, community organizers who are locked out of traditional fundraising platforms are turning to Bitcoin to urgently raise support for their work.

These campaigns are led by trusted grassroots organizers verified through @npub126e6h... @Leopoldo López 👍 and @npub1zz2ww..., Venezuelan activists.

Please help us raise awareness and donate to support these campaigns! Every sat counts.

This week we launched Agora live at the Oslo Freedom Forum. This version of Agora came together after six months of close collaboration and research with @Leopoldo López 👍 and @npub1zz2ww... of the World Liberty Congress.

After trying many different impact and action models, we realized that "unstoppable funding" was the missing link in the ecosystem for people trying to survive a day at a time in places where the economic systems have collapsed.

Next for Agora, we plan to test our funding, safety, and offramping models with local coalitions for women's sovereignty in Africa and humanitarian aid in Palestine.

We will also be seeking partnerships with Bitcoin-based businesses looking for charitable opportunities to help meet the urgent global funding needs.

"Some users hear 'Nostr' and immediately think 'Bitcoin only.' Do you think that perception has limited broader adoption of decentralized social platforms?"

Great interview of @Derek Ross about the work we are doing on Ditto!
